Krka National Park

Krka National Park is located in the Krka Valley and collects all the water of the region.

This national park was also a filming location for movies such as Winnetou 1. The park is approximately a 30-minute drive from Primosten.

The waterfalls present a thunderous natural spectacle, and there are romantic wooden walkways in the water. Additionally, exploration by excursion boat is also possible.

The national park is a stunning destination for all age groups year-round.

Plitvice Lakes

National Park No. 1 is also the oldest and largest national park in Croatia. Additionally, the Plitvice Lakes are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The system consists of 16 major lakes and several smaller cascading lakes, along with associated waterfalls, and is home to rare species of animals and plants. Suitable walkways connect the individual lakes, and even in the peak of summer, the temperatures remain pleasant. This national park is reachable by car within approximately 2.5 hours from Primosten and is recommended as a day trip destination.

Kornati National Park

This national park consists of 89 islands and reefs. The archipelago is geographically situated between the island of Dugi Otok and the island of Zirje in the Dalmatian region. The breathtaking Kornati islands are reminiscent of pyramid-like mountains in the sea. The archipelago can only be reached by boat, with a travel time of about 30 minutes from Primosten.

There are also hiking trails available for exploring the islands.

Island of Brač – Golden Horn

The Golden Horn is located in the southern part of the island and, due to its geological features, consists of a pebble beach that juts out into the sea like a horn. This horn offers a unique bathing beach.

Culturally and historically significant, the island is renowned for its quarries where the whitest limestone in the world is extracted, and which has even been used in the construction of the White House in Washington. The island, with its mild climate, can only be reached by boat, with a travel time from Primosten of about 2.5 hours.
